This Notice explains how blog.catalpasatelier.com (“this blog”) uses cookies, browser storage, pixels, and similar technologies. Read it with this blog’s supplemental Privacy Notice and the main Catalpas Atelier Privacy Policy.
This blog, the Official Site, and the Docs site each store an independent consent choice. A decision on one property does not apply to another.
1. Categories and choices
- Essential. Used to deliver the static site, remember language and consent choices, and support security. Always active where needed.
- Analytics. Google Analytics 4 helps us understand aggregate and pseudonymous use. Disabled unless you grant analytics consent.
- Marketing. Meta Pixel and Reddit Pixel measure advertising and campaign performance and may support permitted audience functions. Disabled unless you grant marketing consent.
You can accept all, reject optional technologies, or manage analytics and marketing independently. Use Cookie preferences in the footer to change a choice. The consent record is stored in host-only ca_blog_consent browser storage and ca_blog_consent_v1 localStorage for up to 12 months.
2. Loading rules
This blog uses Google Basic Consent Mode:
- before analytics consent, the Google tag is not loaded and sends no request or consent-mode ping;
- after analytics consent, Google Analytics may process a pseudonymous client identifier, page URL and title, referrer, browser/device information, approximate region, and configured page events; and
- Google advertising signals remain disabled in our configuration.
Before marketing consent, Meta Pixel and Reddit Pixel scripts are not loaded and no pixel event is sent. After marketing consent, they may process browser/device information, IP address, page URL, referrer, cookie or advertising identifiers, and configured page-visit events.
The Blog, Official Site, and Docs site may use the same suite-level Meta and Reddit pixel identifiers. Sharing an identifier does not share consent; each property gates loading using only its own consent record.

Provider cookie names and durations may change as providers update their services or browsers limit storage. See Google’s Cookie information, Meta’s Cookies Policy, and Reddit’s Privacy Policy.
4. Server-side data and campaign links
Independently of optional cookies, our hosting, CDN, and security systems may write limited access logs containing IP address, user-agent, request path, response status, referrer, and timing to deliver and secure the blog. Ordinary campaign query parameters do not prevent a page from loading before consent. This blog does not persist a separate first-party campaign-attribution identifier; optional Google, Meta, and Reddit measurement remains consent-gated.
The Official Site’s /r/<slug> redirect and campaign records are governed by the Official Site Cookie and Tracking Notice, not by this blog’s consent record.
5. Withdrawing consent
Withdrawing analytics or marketing consent stops future events from this blog and prevents the relevant tracker from loading on later page loads. It does not automatically erase information already received by a provider. You may also clear site data or use browser controls. To exercise privacy rights, contact privacy@catalpasatelier.com.
6. Changes and contact
We may update this Notice when technologies, purposes, providers, or legal requirements change. The version and effective date identify the current text.
