Scribe 0.1.8 release notes

This release fixes Windows editor focus problems after conflict prompts and refreshes the project chooser shown after closing a project.

  • Fixes cursor and editing lockups after version conflict prompts on Windows
  • Reduces false conflict prompts in OneDrive and similar synced folders
  • Refreshes the project chooser shown after closing a project and follows the current app theme

Scribe 0.1.8 focuses on Windows desktop editing stability and brings the no-project chooser in line with the rest of the Scribe interface.

What changed

  • Fixed cases where the editor cursor could disappear after opening a document on Windows.
  • Fixed cases where closing a version conflict prompt could leave the editor unable to continue editing until Scribe was restarted.
  • Reduced repeated false conflict prompts when autosaving in OneDrive or similar synced folders.
  • Improved recovery after document conflicts so the current editing state is less likely to be interrupted.
  • Updated the project chooser shown after closing a project so it matches Scribe’s main interface.
  • The project chooser now follows the current app theme instead of always using the older white card style.

This release is about stability and continuity. If you write on Windows in a synced folder, or often close and switch projects, 0.1.8 should make those flows feel less disruptive and more consistent with Scribe’s current design.
