Scribe 0.2.1 focuses on reliability and ease of use in everyday writing and project management, making it clearer to open a project, continue editing, and check for updates.
What changed
- Improved project opening and recent history. The project opening screen now has a clearer two-column layout and recent-project list, with better loading, empty, retry, and action feedback across different window sizes.
- Made document saving and project archives more reliable. Fixed cases where extended document information could be omitted when saving, reopening, or archiving a project, reducing the risk of unintended content or formatting changes.
- Clarified the Function menu and update prompts. Reorganized the account, global settings, and keyboard shortcut entries, and improved update status feedback across the sign-in screen and workspace.
- Refined the sign-in experience. Standardized Scribe branding, version information, and the two-column layout, with better behavior in compact windows and at higher display scaling.
- Simplified device information in About. The dialog now keeps the recognizable desktop platform and system architecture while hiding internal technical identifiers that are not useful to most users.
